Little League® International, located in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, is the administrative and operational headquarters for Little League Baseball and Softball, the world’s largest non-profit youth sports organization.

Operating nine regional centers, serving millions of children — ages 4 to 16 — and supported by more than one million volunteers throughout the world, Little League also annually operates the Little League International Tournament, the larges elimination tournament in the world. Each summer seven World Series Champions are crowned (4 baseball, and three softball).

  • World Series Positions

    Come Join Our World Series Team!

    Delaware North SportService is accepting applications for the 2018 World Series event!  These are CONCESSION AND FOOD VENDING temporary positons for the Little League World Series event.  Hiring Cooks, Warehouse, Vendors and Stand Attendants!  To be considered, applicants MUST:

    • Be at least 16 years of age (with work permit if under 18), unless otherwise noted
    • Be able to stand, stoop, bend for long periods of time in all weather conditions
    • Have reliable transportation
    • Live within commuting distance of South Williamsport, Pennsylvania
    • Pass all required background checks (bring two forms of ID)
    • Be available from August 16-26, 2018 for most days
    • Love Little League Baseball and smile a lot!

    To be considered, APPLY IN PERSON AND bring two forms of identification and apply at the main concessions stands of Howard Lamade Stadium beginning Tuesday, August 7th through Friday, August 10th from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

    Little League International is hiring temporary positons for the Little League World Series.  To be considered, applicants MUST:

    • Be at least 16 years of age (with work permit if under 18), unless otherwise noted
    • Be able to stand, stoop, bend for long periods of time

    Housekeeping/Laundry

    Must be able to bend, stoop and stand for long periods of time; will assist in all aspects of cleaning of dormitories and buildings, as well as washing bedding and linens.  Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

    Lifeguards

    Must have current lifeguarding and CPR certifications, experience preferred.

    Official Store Staff

    Prior retail experience preferred, excellent customer service and communication skills, math skills, be able to bend, stoop, stand for long periods, and lift up to 40 lbs. Flexible hours are a must!

    Museum Staff

    Excellent customer service and communication skills, public speaking experience preferred, cashier experience preferred, ticketing, crowd flow/control.

    Guest Services/Customer Service

    Must have excellent customer service skills, be able to work outside under a tent, be able to sit and stand for long periods of time, ability to type accurately 60 WPM, and proficient understanding of technology (computers and cell phone).

    Ushers

    Responsibilities include serving as a resource to guests regarding the facility and events, checking tickets for seat location, and crowd control and maintaining order in the stadiums.  Ability to work with others and take direction.  Excellent customer service and communication skills, be able to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and rain, be able to stand for long periods of time.

    Event Staff

    Individuals should have some knowledge of safety and/or willing to learn; have the ability to work with others and take direction.  Applicants must be 18 years old and able to work a flexible 8-hour shift.     Account Executive, Marketing

    Little League International, South Williamsport, Pa.

    Little League International is seeking a full time Account Executive, Marketing for our South Williamsport, Pennsylvania location.  Primary responsibility to act as liaison and provide excellent customer service to all our partners and develop, implement, manage, and maintain all aspects of sponsorship relationships including project management and marketing. This position requires a bachelor’s degree in marketing, sports management, sales management or related field and two to four years of relevant marketing, sponsorship, media sales or sports-related industry experience. Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with exceptional organizational skills, possess strong written and oral communication skills and demonstrate a solid understanding of client service.  Previous project management experience and a solid understanding of marketing principles including sponsorships, event marketing, merchandising, licensing, advertising, and public relations is required.  Event management experience a plus.

    Must live within commuting distance to 17702, or be willing to relocate.

    Data Warehouse Specialist, Information Services

    Little League International, South Williamsport, Pa.

    Little League® International (LLI) has an immediate opening in South Williamsport, PA for a full-time DATA WAREHOUSE SPECIALIST reporting to the Director of Information Services.  This position will provide expertise to implement and maintain the databases used by LLI’s various software systems.  He/she will also perform ETL functions to share data between systems, as well as prepare, send, analyze, and report on emails sent through LLI’s email marketing system.  This position operates as part of a team under the mentorship of the Director of Information Services.  Individuals who desire to work for a company with 75+ years of history supporting youth baseball and softball and who enjoy facing an evolving set of technical challenges should apply.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field plus a minimum of three years’ work experience with SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, ETL, and relational database best practices.  Four or more years of work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.  Candidates should also possess a strong working knowledge of email marketing services such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, business intelligence and analytics, HTML and web and social media standards.  Intermediate knowledge of computer hardware, networks, mainframe architecture, and Microsoft Office is also required.

    The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following:  the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other data privacy regulations, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), basic accounting principles, and the IBM eServer iSeries (AS/400) platform.  A willingness to learn these skills both on the job and independently is a must to be successful in this position.

    Candidates must be customer-service focused, as this position will occasionally require providing guidance and assistance to internal and external users, both in-person and by phone.  Strong communication and organizational skills are also required, with this person being a member of several interdepartmental project teams.

    While most work is done during normal business hours, occasional peaks in workload and special events such as the Little League® World Series may require working in the evenings and on weekends.  Occasional (< 5%) travel may be required.

    Compensation is commensurate with experience.

    Little League has internship opportunities available throughout certain times of the year. Participants have the chance to experience one of the most unique learning environments in a world-renowned non-profit youth sports organization. Our staff is willing to assist and mentor those individuals with a serious desire to further their studies and achieve their career goals.

    There are several departments within Little League Baseball that offer internship opportunities. A list of each department can be found below. Based on an applicant’s stated interest, course of study, experience, qualifications, and letter of recommendations from college professors and/or references, we will consider all college junior and seniors. Internships can be for credit and/or paid an hourly wage. Most internships are from mid-May to end of August. Room and Board are the responsibility of the intern with the exception of Sports Turf Management & Landscaping.     • Teaching baseball skills to players.
    • Coach games against the other camp teams.
    • Responsible for team of 12-14 players during the week-long camp.
    • Supervise recreational camp activities such as swimming, whiffle ball, basketball and rec time.
    • All camp employees are provided with comfortable accommodations with sleeping quarters separate from the players.
    • Salary plus meals, laundry, towels, and bed linens.
    • Camp sessions run from Sunday afternoon through the following Friday morning.
    • Transportation is not provided.

    Counselor Position Qualifications, Responsibilities and Benefits:
