Internship Program

Throughout the year, Little League® International offers a summer and semester-long internship program in a variety of different areas for college students to gain invaluable experience each year.

Summer interns must be available to work during the month of August for the Little League Baseball® World Series. Many of Little League’s previous interns have gone on to careers in Major League Baseball, College Athletic Programs, and more. All internships are paid and may also be taken for college credit.

Little League Internship Opportunities

Little League® International of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, is seeking a qualified student to join Little League’s graphic and digital design efforts for the spring of 2027. The internship will run from approximately February to May, will have a flexible schedule that takes place between normal business hours 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Monday – Friday), based on availability, and earns $18 per hour for up to 35 hours per week. While the position is preferred to be held in-person, opportunities to be conducted fully remote are available, on a case-by-case basis. Remote applicants must provide their own laptop with appropriate software (MS Office, etc.), phone, and have reliable internet at their own expense.

Our internship program provides a hands-on learning experience with one of the world’s most visible sporting events. It provides behind-the-scenes access to the inner-workings of a communications department in a global sports organization. The Digital Design Intern will work with the Senior Director of Communications, in coordination with the Creative Director and Director of Web and Emerging Technologies, to assist in the creation and implementation of design projects for use on web and digital platforms, digital asset management, administrative tasks, and other daily tasks as assigned.

Little League® International Williamsport, Pennsylvania, is seeking a qualified student to join Little League’s Digital Media efforts for the summer of 2027 at our headquarters location. The internship will run from approximately May to August and is subject to availability as candidates must be available to work during the 2027 Little League Baseball® World Series in mid-August. The hours typically follow normal business hours, Monday – Friday and earns $18 per hour for up to 35 hours per week.

Our internship program provides a hands-on learning experience with one of the world’s most visible sporting events. It provides behind-the-scenes access to the inner workings of digital/web perspectives in a global sports organization. The Digital Media Intern will be responsible for updating content on our LittleLeague.org website (primarily focusing on our seven World Series tournaments), enhancing SEO and search keyword offerings, assisting with LLWS app management, and supporting email and in-game production efforts when necessary.

Little League® International of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, is seeking two qualified students to join Little League’s Legal/Risk Management team for the summer of 2027 reporting to the SVP, Chief Legal Officer and Deputy General Counsel. The internship will run from approximately June to August with flexibility in start and end date. The intern will typically follow normal business hours, Monday – Friday and earns $20-22 per hour depending on year in law school. For interns who need to temporarily relocate to the Williamsport area for the summer, Little League provides a $1,500 housing stipend to assist with housing expenses during the internship.

Little League® International is seeking qualified candidates to join the communications department to support media relations efforts for the summer of 2027 at its headquarters in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The internship will run from approximately May to August and is subject to availability as candidates must be available to work during the 2027 Little League Baseball® World Series in mid-August. The hours typically follow normal business hours, Monday – Friday, and earns $18 per hour for up to 35 hours per week.

Our internship program provides a hands-on learning experience with one of the world’s most visible sporting events. It provides behind-the-scenes access to the inner workings of media relations in a global sports organization. Reporting to the Senior Director of Communications, the successful candidate will assist in feature writing projects, research projects, media relations, administrative tasks, and other daily tasks as assigned.

Little League® International of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, is seeking a qualified student to join Little League’s Emergency Management efforts for the summer of 2026 at our headquarters location. The internship will run from approximately the end of May to the end of August and is subject to availability as candidates must be available to work during the 2027 Little League Baseball® World Series in August. The hours typically follow normal business hours, Monday – Friday and earns $18 per hour for up to 35 hours per week.

Our internship program provides a hands-on learning experience with one of the world’s most visible youth sports organizations and sporting events. It provides the opportunity to assist with maintaining all physical and electronic security equipment and operations in preparation of and during an international sporting event to ensure the safety and security of personnel, facilities, and assets at the Little League International Complex and during the Little League World Series (LLWS) and other daily tasks as assigned.

The internship will run from approximately May to August and is subject to availability as candidates must be available to work during the 2027 Little League Baseball® World Series in mid-August. The hours typically follow normal business hours, Monday – Friday, and earns $18 per hour for up to 35 hours per week.

Our internship program provides a hands-on learning experience with one of the world’s most visible sporting events. It provides behind-the-scenes access to the inner workings of a sports organization from a holistic social media perspective. Reporting to the Director of Social and Digital Strategy, successful candidates will aid in executing Little League’s overall digital strategy with an emphasis on enterprise social media. The position may also include elements of videography, graphic design, photography, and more!

Little League® International of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, is seeking two female student-athletes or female student sports fans who are interested in a career in sports to join Little League’s softball efforts for the summer of 2027, reporting to the Director of Softball Development. This program is designed for either female student-athletes who are interested in breaking into the sports industry, or female students who possess a strong interest in a career in the sports industry. This position is remote work eligible, with the exception you must be able to attend the Little League Softball World Series in Greenville, North Carolina from July 25 – August 10, 2027. This program will run from approximately June to August and will typically follow normal business hours, Monday – Friday. This is a paid position and once transitioned to on-site/in-person work, housing and some meals will be provided.

We are looking to hire Sports Turf Interns for the Summer of 2027 that would run from May 3 through August 29 (flexible based on availability) and earns $18 per hour for 35 hours per week. This is a non-exempt position reporting to the Turf & Groundskeeper. Free on-site housing is available with a signed housing agreement. Applicants must pass all applicable background checks.
