T-Mobile Little League® Call Up Grant Launches for 2026 Season to Help Families in Need with Registration Fees

For the seventh-straight year, Little League® and T-Mobile are teaming up to support families in need with the T-Mobile Little League Call Up Grant. Starting January 15, 2026, eligible Little League families are able to apply for funds to assist with paying their local league’s registration fees during this upcoming season.

“As Little League continues to commit resources to create greater access to the Little League program through Philanthropy and the support of programming initiatives with our partners, this program and the more than $8 million in financial support that T-Mobile has provided to date continues to demonstrate the true need that exists for kids to play sports”, said Patrick Wilson, Little League President and CEO.  “We are grateful for T-Mobile’s continued commitment to supporting Little League families and communities and look forward to helping families in need across the nation ensure their children can enjoy the Little League experience this season.”

Operating in partnership with Every Kid Sports, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the T-Mobile Little League Call Up Grant has provided more than 70,000 families with registration fee assistance since 2020. Last season, a total of 10,617 children were supported through the registration grant program at an average of $130.50 per grant (registration fee grants are capped at $150 per child). A total of $8,269,254 has been provided to families in need over the past six years to help pave the way for every child to have access to the Little League program.

One in five children may not have the opportunity to play sports due to financial challenges, and this program has helped families in need across the nation break down those barriers and provide children with an experience they will never forget. While Little League acknowledges there is a continued rise in the costs of youth sports, it remains the only youth baseball and softball organization as a member of the Aspen Institute 63×30 Roundtable, committed to getting 63% of young people playing sports by 2030, and is working with fellow industry leaders to break down barriers through programs as impactful as the T-Mobile Little League Call Up Grant Program.

Here are testimonials from parents of children who had the chance to play in 2025 through the Call Up Grant program, which included 26% of recipients playing in the Little League program for the first time:

  • “Knowing that my child has received a grant, and I no longer have to scrounge for money to ensure she can play is a huge weight off my shoulders as a single parent. Softball is more than a sport. It’s leadership, discipline, and family. My daughter lives, eats, and breathes softball. I couldn’t imagine having to tell her that she can’t play because I didn’t have enough money. I am so grateful for the funding.” – Mother of Khloei R. (Age 12), Ashtabula, Ohio
  • “I’m incredibly grateful to T-Mobile and Little League for the grant that lifted a financial burden and gave my 10-year-old daughter the chance to play softball for the first time. Despite being new to the sport, she gained confidence, was drafted into the majors with older players, and grew tremendously in skill, independence, and teamwork. This experience has been a true blessing.” – Mother of Ruby R. (Age 10), Denair, Calif.
  • “I am very grateful and appreciate the help provided for my little one to keep enjoying baseball that he loves so much. I am a mother of two boys struggling to provide for them at the moment, but the T-Mobile Little League Grant made it possible for them to continue with what they love the most which is baseball. We are very happy, so thank you so much for making this happen for me and my kids.” – Mother of Samuel (Age 8), Bronx, N.Y.
  • “I hadn’t heard of this amazing grant until I signed my kids up for their first year of Little League. The application was simple, and I was lucky to get through on the first day. Softball is expensive, and programs like this are a huge help for low-income families like ours. This is my daughter Brooke’s first year playing softball and being on a Little League team. She’s already made friends, had a great time, and is so excited for her first game. Thank you for making this opportunity possible!” – Mother of Brooke D. (Age 8), Jacksonville, Fla.

The T-Mobile Little League Call Up Grant is available to families in need who can present verification documents with effective dates within the last 12 months, such as SNAP, WIC, or Enrollment in Medicaid. Once approved, families will be issued an electronic debit card which will be usable for league registration fees only.
