Little League® Remembers Longtime Southeast Region Volunteer, Julie Haley

Little League® mourns the passing of Julie Haley, a longtime volunteer and the wife of Georgia District 7 District Administrator, Jeremy Haley.

A cornerstone of the Little League program in her community, Haley founded and directed the Georgia District 7 Challenger Baseball League to provide the joy of youth athletics to all children, regardless of their physical and intellectual abilities. Haley stepped up to the plate every season, dedicating her time to helping others and brightening anyone’s day with her infectious smile and laughter.

In addition to her work with Little League, Haley was committed to positively impacting her community. She served as the Assistant Treasurer at the Rock Springs Baptist Church, preparing breakfast every Sunday morning for her contemporary adult Sunday School Class. Haley was also a business owner, working as an Associate Broker at Coldwell Banker Fort Realty.

Haley was preceded in death by her mother, Judy Allen, and her brother, Michael Allen. She is survived by her loving husband, Jeremy Haley, her father, Harold, her brother Dewayne, her brother-in-law, Jonathan Haley, and wife Amy, her father and mother-in-law, Jerry and Susan Haley, and six nieces and nephews.

Haley will be remembered for her unwavering commitment to her family and Little League, and her legacy and service to her community will be lived out by all who knew her.
