Little League® International Welcomes Five New Staff Members, Announces Two Promotions

Over the course of the last few months, Little League® International is proud to welcome five new members to the Little League Headquarters staff in Williamsport and has officially announced the promotion of two employees.

“We are proud to provide all of our local leagues and volunteers with the best possible support, information, and resources, which can be attributed to the dedicated staffers that serve at our headquarters and regional offices around the world,” said Stephen D. Keener, Little League President and CEO. “Thanks to their hard work and support of the Little League program, I am confident that these highly skilled employees will be able to maintain Little League’s recognition and respect as the world’s largest youth sports organization.”

Joining the Little League International Headquarters staff in Williamsport, Pa., are:

Jillian Boyer (Administrative Assistant, Risk Management)

Jillian Boyer joined the Little League International Headquarters staff on January 8 as the Administrative Assistant for Risk Management. Prior to joining the Little League staff, Ms. Boyer has served as an administrative assistant at Lee, Gree, & Reiter, Attorneys at Law as well as Naftulin & Shick, Attorneys at Law. In addition to her experience as an administrative assistant, Ms. Boyer also has been a member of the Army National Guard since 2010 and is the recipient of two Army Achievement Medals. Ms. Boyer graduated from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science Degree.

Lisa Burkett (Kitchen Aid)

Lisa Burkett joined the Little League International Dining Hall Staff on October 10, 2017. Prior to joining as a Little League International staff member, Ms. Burkett has served as a cafeteria staff member during the Little League Baseball World Series each August. As part of her new role with Little League, Ms. Burkett will continue to assist with providing all of the participants of the Little League Baseball World Series, as well as Little League Baseball Camp, with meals throughout the marquee events.

Bob Henninger (Software Developer)

A native of Pennsylvania, Bob Henninger joined the staff in Williamsport on February 6 as a Software Developer with the Little League International Information Services Department. Prior to joining the Little League staff, Mr. Henninger spent more than 11 years as a Senior Web Designer and Developer with MoJo Active as well as three years in the same role at Sire Advertising. Along with more than 18 years of experience in web development, Mr. Henninger spent more than seven years as a Graphic Designer after graduating from Pennsylvania College of Technology with an Associate of Applied Arts Degree in Advertising Art.

Nichole Wilcox (Purchasing Assistant)

Nichole Wilcox joined the Little League staff on January 2 as the Purchasing Assistant at Little League International Headquarters in Williamsport. A graduate of Mansfield University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Graphic Design: Print Graphics, Mrs. Wilcox has spent the last two and a half years working as an embroidery designer at Moonlight Graphics and has held a variety of other jobs in graphic design and embroidery.

Taigen Thorne (Coordinator, Licensing Partnerships)

Ms. Thorne joined the Little League staff on February 6 as the Coordinator of Licensing Partnerships at Little League International Headquarters in Williamsport. Prior to joining Little League, Ms. Thorne spent the last three and a half years working for Sage Age Strategies, a full-service marketing and advertising agency in Montoursville, Pa. During her time with Sage Age Strategies, Ms. Thorne served as an Account Manager, Executive Assistant to the CEO, and Media and Public Relations Director. Along with her experience at Sage Age Strategies, Ms. Thorne began her career in NYC as an intern and, eventually, a full time Accounts Coordinator Assistant at the public relations firm, Small Girls PR, from 2013-14. Ms. Thorne graduated from Pace University with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a concentration in Advertising and Promotions.


In addition, two of Little League’s current employees recently were promoted effective January 1, 2018:

Emily Rivers (East Region – Administrative Assistant)

Emily Rivers was recently promoted to the East Region Administrative Assistant after serving as the region’s Administrative Clerk for the past 17 years. The second-most tenured active employee at the Little League East Region behind East Region Director, Corey Wright, Mrs. Rivers has served as a member of the East Region staff since 2001 when she began her Little League career in merchandising and orders. A lifetime resident of Bristol, Mrs. Rivers and her family are dedicated to the city and to the entire Little League Baseball and Softball organization. Throughout her time as a Little League employee, Mrs. Rivers and her entire family have also assisted as volunteers for the Little League East Region Tournaments.

Christina Taddeo (Headquarters – Paralegal)

A member of the Little League International Headquarters Staff since 2004, Mrs. Taddeo was recently promoted from an Administrative Assistant in the Risk Management Department to Little League International’s Paralegal. During her time working in the Risk Management Department, Mrs. Taddeo’s main responsibility was the administration of the A Safety Awareness Program (ASAP). A graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology with a Bachelor of Applied Science in paralegal studies and a minor in English, Mrs. Taddeo previously worked as a paralegal for two law firms prior to joining the staff in Williamsport.
