Little League® International recently announced the promotion of Dustin Solomon to Senior Director of Marketing for Little League Baseball and Softball. A member of the Little League staff since 2011, Mr. Solomon has served as the Director of Retail Licensing and Merchandise Operations since 2015.

“We are proud to welcome Dustin into his new role within the Little League program and are looking forward to an exciting future of our marketing efforts with his guidance and vision,” said Liz DiLullo Brown, Little League Vice President of Marketing and Communications. “Dustin’s tremendous leadership skills, understanding of the values that Little League holds, and exceptional work ethic have proven to be an invaluable resource for the marketing department as well as the Little League organization as a whole.”

Since joining Little League in 2011 as the Director of Merchandising, Mr. Solomon has been responsible for the merchandise and retail efforts of Little League International, has been directly involved with Little League’s licensing operations, and has served as an important leader within the Little League marketing department. One of Mr. Solomon’s most recent milestones came in 2016, as he led in the establishment of a partnership with DICK’S Sporting Goods to utilize DICK’S Team Sports HQ as the official and exclusive partner in providing technology services for local leagues and districts.

“It is truly an honor to be provided with the opportunity to take on this new role and responsibility within the Little League organization,” said Mr. Solomon. “Alongside the dedicated members of the marketing department, I am excited for the future of Little League Baseball and Softball and for the unique opportunities that this new role will bring for our department as we continue to provide positive resources for local leagues all around the world.”

In his new position, Mr. Solomon will assume responsibilities for national sponsorship and serve in a variety of additional leadership roles within the Little League marketing department. Little League’s official sponsors help local leagues operate smoothly, provide training resources for coaches, offset expenses for educational initiatives, offer grant programs for leagues in need, and provide opportunities and knowledge in fundraising, operations, nutrition, and safety. In short, sponsors help leagues offer the best programs possible, so players and volunteers have a fun and rewarding Little League experience.
