Each March, Little League® celebrates Women’s History Month with its annual Girls with Game® (GWG) Month, and to join the celebration, visitors across the greater Williamsport area are encouraged to stop by the World of Little League® Museum all month long.
“No matter your age or interest in baseball or softball, March is the perfect time to come out and experience the excitement that our Museum has to offer,” said Adam Thompson, Director of the World of Little League Museum. “From the moment you begin your six-inning journey within our Museum, you’ll be able to learn about the history of the girls and women in our program, and learn about what today’s Girls with Game are doing to inspire the next generation.”
In addition to the various exhibits throughout the Museum, including hearing the story behind 2024 Little League Hall of Excellence enshrine and female pioneer Maria Pepe, here are two great ways to enjoy a trip this March:
Free Admission with Your Little League Patch
This month, and all year long, any person who identifies themselves as a current Little Leaguer®, AND who is wearing a shirt/jersey that has the Little League® Official Patch on it will receive FREE admission. With opening day right around the corner, show off your team’s pride and represent your community by wearing your Little League jersey to the Museum.

Don’t have your official Little League patch yet for the 2026 season? Be sure to visit ShopLittleLeague.org and buy your patch today to celebrate being part of the world’s largest and most trusted youth sports organization. Also, be sure to pick up a Girls with Game Rocker Patch to celebrate the initiative all year long.
Check Out the GWG Exhibit
Unveiled as part of the GWG50 Celebration in 2024, the GWG Exhibit features a large-scale wall mural featuring some of the inspiring Girls with Game who have made it to compete in the Little League Baseball® World Series, a photo wall with an inspirational phrase for visitors to capture memories in front of, top photos from the #GWG50 Photo Contest, as well as an exhibit case that will feature a rotation of artifacts in celebration of the history of girls in the Little League® program. While visiting the exhibit, be sure to take a photo in front of the exhibit and tag @LittleLeague on social media, using #GWG on your post.

If visiting the Museum throughout the week, be sure to also stop by the Little League Flagship Store (located along the left-field line of Volunteer Stadium and open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET) or visit ShopLittleLeague.org. All month long, Girls with Game merchandise will be 25% off (sale ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on March 31, 2026).
