2026 Little League Baseball® World Series, Presented by T-Mobile — August 19 — 30

T-Mobile Celebrates Everyday Heroes with Memorable “Magenta Moment” During Opening Day of the 2026 Little League Baseball® World Series

2026 LLBWS Magenta Moment

As the Official Presenting Sponsor of the Little League Baseball® World Series (LLBWS) since 2023, T-Mobile stepped up its commitment to the event in 2026 with a takeover of Opening Day that featured exclusive pin giveaways and a memorable “Magenta Moment,” shining a spotlight on an extraordinary individual who showcases a commitment to serving both his country and their local Little League community.

The T-Mobile Magenta Moment recognizes a veteran or active-duty service member, first responder, or military-affiliated volunteer who has made a lasting impact on generations of children through Little League®, celebrating the shared values of service, leadership, and community that define both organizations. The recognition also aligns with T-Mobile’s ongoing commitment to supporting military families, veterans, and first responders, while helping commemorate America’s 250th anniversary by celebrating individuals whose dedication strengthens communities across the country.

“Little League is powered by volunteers who commit to make a difference in the lives of children, and T-Mobile has been dedicated to honoring those individuals who make our program operate from the grassroots level to the biggest stage” said Liz DiLullo Brown, Little League Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing and Business Relationship Officer. “Through the T-Mobile Magenta Moment, we’re proud to recognize one of the countless heroes who have not only served our nation but have continued their commitment to service by mentoring, coaching, and inspiring the next generation through Little League.”

This year’s Magenta Moment recognized East Lycoming Little League’s very own Matt Miller, an assistant coach for the past two years. In addition to his Little League volunteerism, Miller also is a member of the U.S. Army National guard from 2001-09, including service in Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. Today, Miller continues to serve his community as a Trooper with the Pennsylvania State Police for the past 19 years, including being a member of the Tactical Mounted Unit where he helps protect on site at the World Series each summer.

The honoree was recognized prior to the 3 p.m. game at Lamade Stadium before a global audience, receiving a special on-field tribute surrounded by players, families, fans, and fellow volunteers as the LLBWS officially begins.

“At T-Mobile, connecting people to the things that matter most is at the heart of everything we do, and for so many families, that’s Little League,” said Amy Azzi, VP of Sponsorships, T-Mobile. “Through our partnership, we’re proud to shine a spotlight on the veterans, first responders and volunteers who make it all possible — and remind everyone that some of our greatest heroes can be found on the neighborhood ballfield.”

For more than eight decades, Little League has been built by volunteers who give their time to create opportunities for children to learn teamwork, resilience, and leadership. Across the country, thousands of veterans, military families, and first responders continue that tradition by serving as coaches, league officials, umpires, and mentors.

In addition to the activations above, T-Mobile is enhancing the fan experience at the 2026 LLBWS with a magenta light show inside Lamade Stadium and a new, permanent 5G network built across the complex, giving fans fast, reliable connectivity to stream, share and stay connected throughout the LLBWS.
