With the continued rise of women’s sports, Little League® is proud of its official partnership with Athletes Unlimited, which began with the league’s launch in 2020, bringing together Little League Softball® players and the world’s best softball athletes to grow excitement around the game and increase both accessibility and racial diversity in the sport.
As part of the partnership, Little League and Athletes Unlimited work together to coordinate live and digital events that provide engagement between Little Leaguers® and professional softball players, create educational and entertaining content to be used across both organization’s digital platforms, continue to promote and strengthen the Little League Girls with Game initiative, and work to develop interest in and access to the game of softball at every level and in every community.

In 2025, Athletes Unlimited also launched the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL), the premier professional women’s softball league in the United States. The AUSL regular season delivers a 24-game professional softball season across 10 major cities in the U.S., culminating in a best-of-three Championship. It is complemented by the AUSL All-Star Cup – a four-week season where 60 professional softball players compete utilizing Athletes Unlimited’s innovative format, taking place in Rosemont, Illinois, as well as Raleigh and Greenville, North Carolina, home of the Little League Softball World Series.
AUSL Pro Games at the LLSWS
Since 2023, Athletes Unlimited and Little League have teamed up to round out their annual Summer of Softball with a marquis event at the home of the Little League Softball World Series in Greenville, North Carolina, with the AUSL Pro Games at the LLSWS, Presented by DICK’S Sporting Goods.
As part of the spotlight event, all of the AUSL professional softball players come out to Greenville to play a doubleheader at East Carolina University’s softball stadium, just blocks away from where the 12 teams from around the world compete for a chance at the LLSWS Championship Banner.

In addition to the on-field competition, AUSL players also visit Stallings Stadium at Elm Street Park, the home of the Little League Softball World Series, to interact with all 12 participating teams from around the world, providing each of them with a unique and memorable experience exclusive to this event.
