During the heart of the 66th National Little League® Week Celebration, and just one week after the anniversary of the first-ever Little League game on June 6, Little League International is pleased to announce the first-round pairings for the 2025 Little League Softball® World Series, Presented by DICK’S Sporting Goods.
Set to take place on August 3-10 at its home in Greenville, North Carolina, the 2025 Little League Softball World Series, Presented by DICK’S Sporting Goods, will be a historic peak for a memorable Summer of Softball and once again feature 12 teams from around the world, divided into the Purple and Orange brackets, competing for the championship banner. Below are the first-round pairings for the 2025 LLSWS (all times ET and subject to change):
Sunday, August 3
- Game 1 (Purple Bracket): Northwest vs. Southeast (10 a.m.)
- Game 2 (Orange Bracket): North Carolina (host) vs. Latin America (1 p.m.)
- Game 3 (Orange Bracket): Canada vs. Europe and Africa (4 p.m.)
- Game 4 (Purple Bracket): New England vs. Mid-Atlantic (7 p.m.)
Monday, August 4
- Game 5 (Orange Bracket): Central vs. Winner G2 (10 a.m.)
- Game 6 (Purple Bracket): Southwest vs Winner G1 (1 p.m.)
- Game 7 (Purple Bracket): West vs. Winner G4 (4 p.m.)
- Game 8 (Orange Bracket): Asia-Pacific vs. Winner G3 (7 p.m.)
In addition to the great action taking place at Stallings Stadium at Elm Street Park, this year’s event will also welcome the full roster of the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) as they get set to host the AUSL Pro Games at the LLSWS, Presented by DICK’S Sporting Goods, on Wednesday, August 6 with a doubleheader in front of the LLSWS participants and their families starting at 4 p.m. ET. Similar to previous years, the pro softball players will make the most out of their time at the LLSWS, spending the day on Tuesday, August 5, interacting with the LLSWS participants at Stallings Stadium at Elm Street Park to help build the bridge between Little Leaguers and their role models.
Home and away designations for the LLSWS games will be decided via coin flip during the manager briefings held prior to the start of the tournament.
The random drawings were once again held so that the regions who received a bye in the 2024 Little League Softball World Series would not receive a bye in 2025.
