Little League® International Remembers Little League Baseball® World Series Team Host Denny Logan

Little League® International mourns the passing of Dennis Logan, Little League Baseball® World Series team host. He was 65.

Mr. Logan, a native of Williamsport, Pa., volunteered 18 years as an “uncle” for the Little League teams that reached the Little League Baseball World Series played each August in Williamsport.

A 1972 graduate of Williamsport Area High School, Mr. Logan attended Mansfield University and earned a master’s degree in education. While at Mansfield he played four years of baseball.

Mr. Logan was a teacher in the Williamsport Area School District for 34 years and a professor at the Pennsylvania College of Technology for 22 years. For more than two decades, he also umpired various levels of baseball and coached baseball and basketball in the nearby Montoursville (Pa.) Area School District.

Mr. Logan is survived by his wife of nearly 36 years, Susan; daughters Andrea and Larissa; brother, Gary; and four grandsons. He was predeceased by his parents, Randall and Irma Logan.
