Little League® International remembers former Illinois District 2 Administrator David Lohr. He was 82.
Mr. Lohr, a native of Alton, Illinois, served as Illinois District 2 Administrator from 1994 to 2011 during his 40 years of volunteer service to Little League. A long-time advocate of Little League Softball® and the Little League Challenger Division®, he first participated in the Little League program as a coach and player agent in Tuscom Little League located in Tuscola, Illinois.
Professionally, he worked as a gas-line repairman for the CILCO company in Tuscola.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughters, Christine and Cynthia; brother, Ken; and grandchildren, Virginia and Wyatt. Mr. Lohr was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Emma; and his brother, Victor.
