Little League® International Honors the Memory of Daniel Cavallo, Jr., New York Assistant District 8 Administrator

Little League® International mourns the passing of Daniel Cavallo, Jr., New York Assistant District 8 Administrator. He was 57.

Mr. Cavallo, a resident of East Syracuse, N.Y., served as New York Assistant District 8 Administrator for several years. He is the son of Danny Cavallo, Sr., who has been the New York District 8 Administrator since 1981. Cavallo, Sr. has also served as New York State’s Little League Coordinator and volunteered time on the Little League International Advisory Board.

A graduate of Assumption Catholic Academy in Syracuse, Mr. Cavallo, Jr., was employed by Wegmans Food Markets for more than 40 years. At the time of his passing, he held the title of Master Carpenter.

Mr. Cavallo had many years of experience as a volunteer baseball and softball coach. He coached his daughters, Nichole and Alyssa, in Little League, and was the current softball coach at Bishop Grimes High School.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Maureen; two daughters, Nichole and Alyssa; his parents, Daniel and Patricia Cavallo; two sisters, Jennifer and Danice; two nephews, one niece, and several cousins.
