Little League® Celebrates Black History Month in February 2022

As the world joins together in honor of Black History Month in February, Little League® International celebrates the achievements of its players, volunteers, and communities while inspiring future generations of Little Leaguers® to take the field and help us write the next chapter in the Little League story.

Over the course of the month, Little League will be showcasing some of the great moments, people, and players of its program, both past and present, across its social and digital media platforms. From its dedicated volunteers to interviews with some of the game’s top players, Little League will be sharing inspiring advice, unique insight, and empowering words of wisdom throughout February.

 

On February 2, as part of the celebration of National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD), some of Little League’s Softball Squad series guests provided some inspirational and memorable words of wisdom:
