Little League® Remembers Former New York District 15 Administrator, Guy A. Madsen

Little League ® International mourns the passing of Guy A. Madsen, former District Administrator (D.A.) for New York District 15.  

Owner of Madsen Overhead Doors, Fox Hill Campground, and Madsen Motorsports, Madsen was known throughout the community as a true entrepreneur. Passionate about baseball, he was a tireless figure in Little League Baseball®, committing 57 years to the organization, from his time as District 15 Coordinator, to District 15 Administrator, and then later Section 3 Director of Little League. In addition, he was an instrumental figure in the building of the Chatham Complex, providing a safe environment for thousands of youth athletes.  

Madsen is survived by his wife; Patty Madsen, his sons; Michael and Brian Madsen; his grandchildren; Jonathan, Dylan, Taylor, Erin, and Conner; his aunt; Grace Ann Silvernail; and his siblings; Christine, Rundell, Dan (GZ), David, Lee, and Dale.  

Madsen will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to his family and Little League. His legacy and service to his community will be lived out by all who knew him.
