Little League International® mourns the passing of Matthew Mireles, former District Administrator (D.A) for New Mexico District 2.
A Firefighter Lieutenant and leader within his community, Mireles was passionate about baseball. He was involved with Dexter Valley (N.M.) Little League, from his time as a local league volunteer, to becoming District Administrator.
He is survived by his mother, Gracie Mireles; brother, Bryan Mireles; sons, Jacen Mireles, Izais Rodriguez, and Easton Mireles; granddaughter, Ella Rose Rodriguez; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Mireles; son, Xavier Robles; and other beloved family members.
Mireles will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to his family and Little League. His legacy and service to his community will be lived by all who knew him.
