Little League® International Mourns the Passing of Roger Henderson, Sr., Former West Virginia District 4 Administrator

Little League® International mourns the passing of Roger Henderson, Sr., former West Virginia District 4 Administrator and one-time member of the Little League International Board of Directors. He was 81.

Mr. Henderson of Eccles, West Virginia, spent decades contributing to Little League, volunteering at the local, district, state, and international levels of the program. During the early 1990s, he was elected to serve as the Southeast Region field representative to the Little league International Board of Directors. Mr. Henderson spent many August days in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, attending the Little League Baseball® World Series.

Professionally, Mr. Henderson was a salesperson and business owner. Along with his wife, Ann, he operated a waterbed specialty store.

Survived by Ann, his wife of 60 years, Mr. Henderson also leaves behind sons Roger and Rodney; daughter, Rachel; sisters Betty and Nancy, brother, Richard; grandchildren Kyle, Lindsey, and Jordyn; and great grandchildren, Noah, Emma, and Palmer. Mr. Henderson was preceded in death by his parents, Arlie and Rachael, and brother, Ralph.
