Little League® Celebrates Women’s History Month with Girls with Game Initiative

In honor of Women’s History Month during the month of March, Little League® Baseball and Softball will continue the celebration of its Girls with Game Initiative across all its digital platforms.

“For generations, Little League has provided children with the opportunity to experience life lessons playing baseball and softball, and it is through their love for the game that Little League has developed into the largest youth sports organization in the world” said Stephen D. Keener, Little League President and CEO. “As we look toward the future, we hope that our Girls with Game initiative will help to inspire, motivate, and celebrate the incredible females around the world to get involved with our program and help us to write the next chapter in the Little League story.”

Throughout the entire month of March, Little League will focus the content shared on LittleLeague.org and each of its social media platforms to honor all the girls and women who have made the program what it is today. From written stories and feature videos to inspiring quotes and photos across all its digital media platforms, the Girls with Game initiative celebrates the memorable moments, exciting events, and inspiring individuals throughout the Little League program.

All of Little League’s fans, volunteers, and parents are encouraged to join in the celebration on social media by tagging @LittleLeague on Facebook, X/Twitter, and Instagram and by using #GirlsWithGame to share every memorable moment.
