LITTLE LEAGUE® BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL PROMOTES BRIAN MCCLINTOCK TO SENIOR DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS

Little League® Baseball and Softball announced today the promotion of Brian McClintock from Director of Media Relations to Senior Director of Communications. With the promotion, Mr. McClintock will supervise the entire Communications Department for the world’s largest youth sports organization.

“Brian has strong communications skills that will complement a growing department tasked with communicating the organization’s various messages to a host of different audiences, from parents to league officials to coaches,” said Stephen D. Keener, Little League Baseball and Softball President and CEO. “He has a great understanding of our entire organization, possesses strong leadership skills, and will certainly continue to be a key asset for Little League International.”

Mr. McClintock will supervise a department of seven, and will manage all communications activities including media relations, web development, social media, graphic arts, publication development, and copywriting. He will also assist in Little League International’s expansion into digital rights.

A graduate of Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, one of the nation’s top schools of communication, Mr. McClintock joined Little League International more than two years ago as the Director of Media Relations.
