What is the difference between a Little League regulation and a playing rule?

  • Last Updated: ago

A Little League Regulation typically provides guidance for the operation and management of a local league or district. A playing rule is specific to how Little League Baseball®, Little League Softball®, and the Little League Challenger Division® games are officiated on the field.

The 2021 season’s updates to the Little League Rules and Regulations are currently available at LittleLeague.org/Rules and through the Little League Rulebook App.
