The field is set for the 2026 Little League Baseball® World Series (LLBWS), Presented by T-Mobile, which begins on August 19 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. This year will feature 20 teams — 10 from the United States and 10 international teams.
Let’s meet the teams competing in this year’s Little League Baseball® World Series.
International Bracket
Asia-Pacific Region – West Seoul (B) LL (Seoul, South Korea)
For the second time since 2017, a team from West Seoul Little League has earned a spot in the LLBWS.West Seoul (B) Little League finished the international tournament unbeaten with a perfect 6-0 record. They defeated reigning 2025 Asia-Pacific Region Tournament champions Hung-Yeh Little League of Taitung County, Chinese Taipei, 3-1, in the championship game to punch their ticket to Williamsport. For some players, they are the first in their families to reach the LLBWS and are hoping it will be the start of a new family tradition,
ASIA-PACIFIC REGION TEAM PAGE Shop Team
Australia Region – Ryde LL (Sydney, New South Wales)
Ryde Little League will be making its first-ever LLBWS appearance. Australia has had a strong showing in Little League, as one of the few nations with an automatic bid into all four Little League Baseball tournaments. A team from Sydney has represented Australia in six of its previous 11 appearances since the country began competing in the tournament in 2013. This year, however, a new team will take the diamond representing the Australia Region.

Canada Region – Little Mountain LL (Vancouver, British Columbia)
Little Mountain is back for its second consecutive trip to Williamsport and its third appearance in the past five years. They defeated Ottawa West Little League (Ottawa, Ontario), 4-0 in extra innings, scoring all four runs in the eighth inning of the championship game to defend their title. Now, the defending champions will have another chance to make their mark in the LLBWS.

Caribbean Region – Los Nacionales LL (Santiago, Dominican Republic)
In its first year as an official member of Little League, Los Nacionales LL will be making its first trip to Williamsport after mounting an incredible comeback in the championship game. From trailing Aruba by nine runs in just the second inning, the players prayed and danced in the dugout as if they were winning, sparking an incredible comeback to take the game 19-13. The Los Nacionales Little Leaguers will look to continue their historic summer of resilience on the biggest stage in youth sports.
CARIBBEAN REGION TEAM PAGEShop Team
Curaçao Region – Pariba LL (Willemstad, Curaçao)
For the first time in a decade, Pariba LL is headed back to Williamsport to represent Curaçao. Pariba punched their ticket to the LLBWS after winning a best-of-seven championship series over Pabao LL. This marks Curaçao’s first-ever direct entry, continuing the country’s long-standing commitment to the program. Curaçao has produced several notable Major League Baseball All-Stars, including Ozzie Albies of the Atlanta Braves, who will compete in this year’s MLB Little League Classic.

Europe & Africa Region – South Czech Republic LL (Brno, Czechia)
For the fourth straight year, South Czech Republic LL will represent the Europe & Africa region at the LLBWS. Czechia continues to be a strong force of Little League in Europe, qualifying for both Little League Baseball and Softball World Series in recent years and highlighting the growth of youth sports across the continent. South Czech Republic LL went unbeaten in the Europe & African Region tournament, outscoring opponents 53-8 and defeating Catalunya LL from Barcelona, Spain in the championship game to clinch its spot in Williamsport.

Japan Region – Joto LL (Tokyo, Japan)
Joto LL will represent Japan for the second straight year after going unbeaten in its region tournament. Japan has a longstanding history in the Little League Baseball World Series, winning 11 championship titles and completing one of five perfect games in the tournament. Japan has also produced recipients of the 2024 and 2025 Jack Losch Little League Baseball World Series Team Sportsmanship Awards. They were also named the Girls with Game Team Sportsmanship Award recipients at the Little League Softball World Series in 2025, in recognition of their sportsmanship both on and off the field.

Latin America Region – Ministerio Sobre Las Alas Del Águila LL (León, Nicaragua)
Nicaragua earned the Latin America region title after going 7-0 overall and defeating Santiago (Chile) Oriente Little League in the championship game to punch its first ticket to Williamsport. This is the first year Ministerio Sobre Las Alas Del Aguila Little League is officially part of Little League and marks just the fourth appearance for Nicaragua. The team’s name, Ministerio Sobre Las Alas Del Aguila, translates to “Ministry Upon the Wings of an Eagle” and symbolizes divine strength, protection, and renewal. Baseball is the national sport in Nicaragua, and the country has quickly become a rising force.

Mexico Region – Municipal De Tijuana LL (Tijuana, Baja California)
Municipal De Tijuana Little League will represent the Mexico region at the LLBWS. Mexico has the second-most World Series appearances and has won three championships, including becoming the first-ever international champion. The country also produced the first perfect game in Little League Baseball World Series history, adding to its storied legacy in the tournament. Mexico pitcher Jorge Fonseca threw a complete game against the undefeated host team in the championship, punching their ticket. Tijuana will look to continue that legacy in Williamsport.

Panama Region – David Doleguita LL (Chiriquí, Panama)
David Doleguita LL punched the first ticket to the Little League Baseball World Series in March after winning a best-of-three championship series over Barrio Colon Little League (Panama Oeste, Panama). This will be David Doleguita’s second LLBWS appearance since 1993, when the team finished as the runner-up. Panama is also deeply ingrained in Little League’s history, having established some of the first leagues outside of the United States. The country is home to many notable Major League Baseball stars and Hall of Famers, including Mariano Rivera, the only unanimous selection.

United States Bracket
Great Lakes Region – West Side LL (Hamilton, Ohio)
Hamilton West Side Little League is headed back to Williamsport for the first time in five years after going undefeated in the region tournament. In the championship game, pitcher Boone Treadway delivered when it mattered most, throwing a one-hit complete-game shutout to lead Ohio past Kentucky. The shutout capped an unbeaten run for West Side and secured the league’s return to the World Series.

Metro Region – Bayonne (N.J.) Central LL
Bayonne Little League punched its ticket to the LLBWS for the first time in history, doing so in triumphant fashion. After trailing Connecticut for five innings, Bayonne rallied for an incredible comeback, winning the championship game 8-6. This group has been known as “the Dream Team” since they were eight years old, and they finally broke through this postseason for their last Little League run together. Their philosophy is simple – get the job done – because the name on the front of the jersey is more important than the name on the back.

Mid Atlantic Region – East Side LL (West Chester, Pa.)
This will be East Side Little League’s first-ever trip to Williamsport and the fourth straight time a team from the Philadelphia region has made the tournament. Yet East Side LL’s path to the LLBWS wasn’t easy. They were accustomed to winning at every level; the one destination the team had yet to reach was Williamsport. To get there, East Side LL survived five elimination games during its state run, building an identity defined by resilience.

Midwest Region – Davenport Northwest LL (Davenport, Iowa)
Davenport Northwest Little League walked it off in extra innings after a thrilling comeback win to punch their ticket to Williamsport for the first time in more than 20 years. Along the way, a different player stepped up when the team needed it most. Cooper Thissen threw a no-hitter in the Iowa State Championship game, while Kannon Kame earned the win on the mound and hit a grand slam in the District Championship game, and LySanias Broyles III added a perfect game to the team’s impressive postseason run. With big performances throughout the roster, Davenport Northwest LL will look to continue the momentum in Central Pennsylvania.

Mountain Region – Paseo Verde LL (Henderson, Nev.)
Paseo Verde Little League is headed to Williamsport for the second time in three years after a dominant 9-2 win over Montana in the Mountain Region Championship. Nevada is one of two teams in this year’s LLBWS featuring a female player, with Carsynn Meyer helping Paseo Verde complete a historic summer. In the Mountain Region Tournament, Paseo Verde LL stepped up to the plate in an incredible fashion, going 3-0 to punch their ticket to Williamsport. With their infectious energy on the diamond, Nevada will look to keep the good times rolling at Lamade Stadium.

New England Region – Bridgewater Joe Lazaro LL (Bridgewater, Mass.)
Bridgewater Joe Lazaro Little League will be making its first appearance at the LLBWS to represent the New England Region. The team will be behind the “Dominator,” Dominik Mombeleur. Mombeleur struck out 14 batters in 5 innings in the team’s dominant 8-0 region championship win over Maine. The team has a lucky frog stuffed animal named “Fred” that they keep in the dugout every game, who they say has helped bring them some good luck this summer. They hope the magic of Fred the Frog will continue in Williamsport.
NEW ENGLAND REGION TEAM PAGEShop Team
Northwest Region – Soundview LL (Tacoma, Wash.)
Soundview Little League avoided elimination in the Northwest Region tournament to make a championship run. They completed the comeback with an exciting 8-5 win over Idaho’s West Valley Little League to advance to Williamsport. Along the way, Coach Mark Landry made the team a promise: if they won, he would paint his nails teal or shave his beard. As Soundview LL continued to advance, the stakes and coach’s appearance changed with each run, adding a fun twist to the team’s journey. Now, Soundview LL will bring that same energy to Williamsport.

Southeast Region – Phenix City (Ala.) Youth Baseball LL
Phenix City Youth Baseball LL is headed to the Little League Baseball World Series for the first time since 1999, and it’s a family matter in Alabama. Manager Case Rasmus, who leads the program, watched his older brothers and his father win the United States Championship title. Now, Rasmus’ son, Ryker, and niece, Kinley, are both on the roster. In the Southeast Region Championship, Kinley, while wearing her signature bow, tossed a shutout to lead Phenix City Youth Baseball LL to the LLBWS. She becomes the 25th female to ever play in Williamsport.

Southwest Region – Boerne (Texas) LL
Boerne Little League’s journey to the Little League Baseball World Series was not linear. Despite the obstacles, this resilient Texas team is headed to Williamsport after a 4-1 win over Ascension Parish, Louisiana, in the Southwest Region Championship game. Boerne is known for staying composed under pressure, with coaches and those around the team describing the group as a family. That resilience and bond have carried them through every challenge to youth sports’ biggest stage.

West Region – Sweetwater Valley LL (Bonita, Calif.)
Sweetwater Valley punched its ticket to Williamsport with a decisive 11-3 win over Hawaii in the championship game. California put on an offensive showcase, highlighted by Isaac Ramirez’s two-out grand slam in the bottom of the fifth. This team is made up of several athletic families, with a few players carrying ties to MLB. With power throughout the lineup and baseball running deep in their families, Sweetwater will look to make its mark in Williamsport.
