Across all nine Little League® regions, approximately 500 District Administrators (D.A.) provide guidance to league officials and volunteers, ensuring each Little Leaguer® and their family has a fun and memorable experience throughout both regular and tournament seasons. They are the primary link between local leagues and Little League International, sharing updates, rule changes, and important deadlines.
During the 2026 Little League International Congress held in Indianapolis, Indiana, Little League sat down with female D.A.s from eight of the nine regions – U.S. and international – to learn about what it means to them to be a female volunteer in the program, the challenges they face, and how they have grown from them, success stories, and advice for other volunteers who step up to the plate each season.
