Jason Kift Elevated to Lead Facilities Technician

Little League® International has announced the promotion of Jason Kift from Facilities Technician to Lead Facilities Technician, effective May 18, 2026.

“On behalf of the entire Facilities department, we are excited to congratulate Jason on this well-deserved elevation,” said John Swisher, Director of Facilities. “The leadership and teamwork attitude that Jason displayed as Facilities Technician, plus his wealth of knowledge and experience, will continue to make him a tremendous asset and allow him to shine in this position.”

In his new role, Kift will take on additional responsibilities, including leading projects as directed by John Swisher; overseeing World Series setup and teardown in coordination with vendors and staff; training team members on the facility’s needs and locations; and providing direction to staff in John Swisher’s absence.

“It’s an honor to serve as a leader within the Facilities Department and be trusted with the responsibility to serve this incredible organization,” said Kift. “When I arrived on my first day, I immediately recognized the passion, excitement, and commitment that make this place so special, and I look forward to continuing to help create an environment that reflects those values for everyone.”

When he first joined the Little League team in 2022 – after gaining experience at Families United Network, Inc., in Muncy, Pennsylvania – Kift became responsible for performing general maintenance, mechanical and small engine repairs, construction projects, and repairs to facilities and grounds throughout the Little League International Complex. Kift will continue these efforts while taking on the additional responsibilities.
