Little League® Remembers Former Wisconsin Assistant District 1 Administrator, Bob Anderson

Little League® mourns the passing of Bob Anderson, former Assistant District Administrator (A.D.A) for Wisconsin District 1.

A dedicated asset to the Little League program, Anderson was presented with the 2022 Assistant District Administrator Little League International Commendation, an award presented every four years at the Little League International Congress. Recipients of the award are nominated by one of the nine Little League Region Directors for their commitment to the Little Leaguers® in their communities.

Anderson devoted decades of his life to Little League in Wisconsin, beginning when his own children played more than 30 years ago and continuing in the years that followed. Over the years, he served as a coach, board member, president, and district administrator. He coordinated schedules, organized All-Star teams, and played a key role in creating memorable Little League nights at Brewers’ games. His leadership helped shape not only leagues, but generations of young athletes and families.

Despite his illness, Anderson stepped up to the plate every season, using his strong organizational skills to enhance the program. A good friend to many, Anderson always found time to help others and spent many hours listening to those who needed someone to talk to.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenroy Morris Anderson and Irene Elizabeth (Glanzer) Anderson, and by his beloved wife, Julie. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, brothers Paul Anderson and Cliff Anderson, and many extended family members, friends, colleagues, and members of the Wisconsin Little League community whose lives he touched.
