Little League® International has announced Trinity Willoughby as its new Landscaping and Sports Turf Technician, effective February 9, 2026. Willoughby previously served as a summer intern for the program before earning the full-time role.
“On behalf of the facilities department and the entire organization, we are excited to welcome Trinity to the Little League team in this key technical role,” said John Swisher, Little League Director of Facilities. “The teamwork-driven attitude that Trinity displayed as an intern, plus her wealth of knowledge and experience, will make her a tremendous asset to not only our department, but to Little League as a whole.”
In her new role as Landscaping and Sports Turf Technician, Willoughby will be responsible for the beautification and upkeep, care, maintenance, and improvement of landscaped grounds, including trees, shrubs, flowers, and grass. In addition, this role will assist with the care of the baseball fields. This position ensures that turf, plants, and facilities are maintained in top condition, supporting the aesthetic and functional goals of the organization.
Before joining Little League, Willoughby gained experience as a Laborer for Willoughby Landscaping Services in Danville, Pennsylvania, maintaining residential landscapes through the pruning of shrubbery, edging, mulching, fertilizing, and more. She also worked in maintenance for the Penn State Golf Courses.
“I am delighted to be a part of the Little League team,” said Willoughby. “I am looking forward to working alongside the maintenance team, experiencing the incredible atmosphere at the Little League World Series, and taking care of the grounds at the complex.”
Willoughby graduated from Pennsylvania College of Technology with an Associate of Applied Science degree in landscape and plant production technology.
