As the Little League® International Tournament hits the biggest spotlight in youth sports, now is the perfect time for fans and supporters to RALLY for Little League and donate to help make the experience possible for generations of Little Leaguers® to come.
A mission-driven nonprofit, Little League uses its revenues to remove barriers and create access and opportunities for kids to experience its industry-leading baseball and softball program each year. Building off the Little League World Series fundraising campaign launched in 2025, the Rally for Little League philanthropic campaign serves as the creative expression of Little League’s broader fundraising strategy, unifying messaging across all audiences to raise awareness and funds to support the unique experience that only Little League can offer. Those interested in supporting this campaign can do so by visiting LittleLeague.org/Rally or by texting RALLY to 345345 (message and data rates may apply).
“For generations, the Little League experience has created memories and life lessons that stay with children and families long after their time on the field. As a nonprofit organization, we have a responsibility to make that experience accessible to as many children as possible, regardless of their circumstances,” said Patrick Wilson, Little League President and CEO. “As the entire world turns its eyes to Williamsport these next two weeks, it is our opportunity to show what it takes to make the Little League experience possible, not just here on the biggest stage but at the grassroots level of our program all year long. Rally for Little League gives everyone who believes in our mission an opportunity to help us remove barriers, strengthen local leagues, and ensure the next generation of Little Leaguers has the same opportunity to play, learn, and grow.”
As all eyes turn to Williamsport, Pennsylvania, it’s important to remember that Little League International invests approximately $18 million to operate its Region and Seven World Series Tournaments. Of that $18 million, a total of $8 million alone is invested to ensure a positive and memorable experience at the Little League Baseball World Series in Williamsport. Additionally, Little League covers the housing, travel for international and domestic teams, and accommodations with travel costing approximately $20-40K per team. To help provide equitable opportunities to all teams, Little League also works with its Official Sponsors to provide brand new and customized equipment, uniform, and gear (with an estimated annual value of nearly $2 million) to World Series participants.
With approximately two million children and a million volunteers around the world supporting its mission each year, Little League’s philanthropic efforts help make the Little League International Tournament experience possible, but more importantly helps provide direct to support to leagues and families at the grassroots level throughout the year.
“The Little League experience is made possible by people who believe in what this program can mean to a child — from our volunteers and families to our sponsors, alumni, fans, and supporters,” said Liz DiLullo Brown, Little League Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing and Business Relationship Officer. “Rally for Little League is about bringing that entire community together and giving everyone a way to make an impact. Whether a gift helps a team experience a World Series, strengthens a local league, or gives a child the opportunity to play for the first time, every contribution helps create experiences and opportunities that can last a lifetime.”
A great example was brought to life earlier this year after Little League International received an anonymous donation of $50,000 from an individual who had a memorable Little League experience and wanted to benefit the Little Leaguers in their community within Georgia District 8.
Along with the investment made directly from Little League International, its Official Sponsors are also stepping up to the plate to support leagues and families at the grassroots level with programs like the T-Mobile Little League Call Up Grant, which has helped award more than $9.8 million to help cover registration fees for nearly 83,000 children since it launched in 2020. This past year saw more than 12,000 children supported by the grant, including 23.75% of kids being new to Little League this year and more than 1,800 unique leagues. On average, since inception of the program, 29% of kids that received a grant are new to Little League (avg. 3,424 kids), bringing the Little League experience to new families and opening the door to children across the nation.
In 2025, Little League International also earned its Candid Platinum Seal of Transparency from Candid.org, a nationally recognized designation earned by nonprofits that share key organizational information on Candid, the world’s largest nonprofit database.
