Sports Connect, Little League, and JDP, providers of background check screening services, have partnered to create a seamless background check verification process for league administrators. This feature is exclusive to Little League programs on Sports Connect.
Be sure to carefully follow all steps to ensure your volunteer background checks are correctly and completely processed. Local leagues must comply with all Little League Child Protection program requirements, including state and local requirements.
This integration of these technologies allows for the registration of volunteers and the initiation of their background checks to be done directly through Sports Connect. As was the case previously, this process may not necessarily satisfy any state-mandated background check requirements, but the integrated process can be used to also track those inquiries.
