Play Ball FAQ

The MLB PLAY BALL Day event at Little League International will be a one-day fun, free event open to children of all ages and skill levels. Throughout the day, there will be unstructured baseball and softball-related activities for all. There will be a variety of sessions available for two age groups running simultaneously on the two stadiums used during the Little League Baseball World Series from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Each session will last approximately one hour and participants can join/exit sessions at any time throughout the day. Other fun, baseball- and softball-related activities will be available at the complex throughout the day.

• Howard J. Lamade Stadium (ages 5-8)
• Volunteer Stadium (ages 9-12)

The event is FREE and open to all.

Online pre-registration is encouraged and can be done at LittleLeague.org/PlayBallDay. On-site registration will be possible on the day of the event. Check-in for pre-registered guests and on-site registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Concession Stand. The first 300 participants to check-in will receive a PLAY BALL Kit.

Yes, each participant must be registered separately by a parent or guardian.

Throughout the Little League International Complex, there will be fun activities for families, including hitting and catching games, an Easton batting cage, and more. Children ages 5 to 12 will be able to experience fun baseball and softball skill development games on the Little League International Complex.

All registered children are expected to bring their fielding gloves, bats, and helmets. Children league-age 12 and under are to wear rubber cleats. Little League International will have some extra equipment available.

Anyone attending the activities at the World Series Stadiums can watch from the seated areas or outside of the fence.
