Little League® International is excited to announce Zola Daverio as its Retail Marketing and Customer Service Associate, effective May 19, 2025.
Daverio returns to the Little League team after spending the summer of 2024 as the organization’s Retail Merchandising Intern. During her time as an intern, Daverio played an important role in collaborating with the Merchandising team to design and plan products for the 2025 Little League Baseball® World Series. Additionally, she helped with designing the layout of the new Flagship store and supported the store’s grand opening operations, including customer service and inventory management. Prior to joining Little League, Daverio gained experience as a Customer Service Representative for Kinley Jewelers and supervision experience as a Shift Lead for Shake Smart.
“We are very excited for Zola to come back to Williamsport and join our team full-time after such an incredible internship experience,” said Christa DeAngelo, Little League General Manager of Retail Sales and E-commerce. “Her teamwork-driven attitude and creativity, combined with the experience she gained with us last summer, will make her a valuable asset to our team as we look for ways to increase sales and raise brand awareness.”
In her new role, Daverio will work across departments to create and adapt marketing strategies across different platforms and channels that increase merchandise sales and raise brand awareness, including long- and short-term planning for different social media accounts. Daverio will also work to develop, plan, and execute an annual marketing plan that supports Little League retail efforts, including e-commerce, to drive business objectives and sales goals.
“I am excited to return to Williamsport to work full-time with the friends I made in the Flagship Store during my internship,” said Daverio. “I can’t wait to see how the work I do will contribute to the goals of not only the merchandising team, but the organization as a whole.”
Daverio graduated with a bachelor’s degree in marketing with a minor in international business from Penn State University (PSU). During all four years at PSU, Daverio participated in the annual THON, the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon dedicated to raising money for cancer research and enhancing the lives of children and families impacted by childhood cancer. From 2023-2024, Daverio served as a Finance Executive Chair (2023-2024), leading financial operations for a special interest organization, and participated as a dancer in THON 2025, standing for 46 consecutive hours.
