World of Little League® Museum Named Top Family Attraction in Pennsylvania

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (Feb. 23, 2016) – The World of Little League® Museum has been named the “Top Family Attraction Worth Traveling For” in Pennsylvania, according to FlipKey, a TripAdvisor company.In its list of each U.S. state’s top sites for families, the World of Little League® Museum is named along with some of the most well-known sites in the country, such as Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Fla., the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, N.Y.

The World of Little League®: Peter J. McGovern Museum and Official Store underwent a $4.2 million renovation in 2013. The facility now boasts two theaters, a timed indoor running track, a 3D catching exhibit, hundreds of unique artifacts, the amazing Global Connections Touch Table, hands-on displays for kids and adults, and much more. The museum also has on display the world’s most complete, game-used uniform worn by baseball immortal Babe Ruth.
