“Show Love for Your League Month” Set for February

Kicking off a month-long promotion centered on Valentine’s Day, the World of Little League® Museum and Official Store will be hosting its fourth-annual “Show Love for Your League Month” from February 1 through February 28. As part of the promotion, Little Leaguers® and friends who visit the World of Little League® Museum throughout the month of February will have the opportunity to earn 100 shoulder patches for their local league.

“For more than a half century, millions of people around the world have proudly worn the Little League official patch on their uniforms,” said Lance Van Auken, Little League Vice President and Executive Director of the Museum. “This month-long event is a great way for local Little Leagues to have some friendly competition, before the real competition begins this spring.”

Visitors touring the Museum will be asked if they are affiliated with a Little League or can identify their community’s Little League. There will be three ways that a local league can win:

  1. The local league that receives the “most love” from all visitors of the Museum by the end of the month will receive 100 free Little League official shoulder patches.
  2. Members of a local league are encouraged to take their photo while at the Museum and have it posted on the Museum’s Facebook page. The league with the most total “likes” will earn 100 patches.
  3. The local league with the most “likes” for a single photo will win 50 free Little League official shoulder patches.
