Every year, Little League’s Summer of Softball™ kicks off with former Little Leaguers® taking the field at the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City. This year, more than 30 softball superstars, whose careers started on a Little League diamond, will compete for the 2026 WCWS crown.

After the 2026 WCWS Champions are crowned, be sure to follow the rest of the historic Summer of Softball™, including the inaugural Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) season in June, which will feature nearly 20 Little League grads, including Carly Hoover, who first played on the fields of South Simpsonville LL (Clemson, S.C.) and won the 2008 Little League Softball World Series before competing as an LSU Tiger in the Women’s College World Series in 2017. Then in August, Little Leaguers will take the field to compete in the 2026 Little League Softball World Series, Presented by DICK’S Sporting Goods, in Greenville, North Carolina.
