Little League® International mourns the passing of Gary Scales, former Alabama District 6 Administrator. He was 76.
Mr. Scales, a resident of Sheffield, Ala., served as Alabama District 6 Administrator from 1984 until 2012, when the district disbanded.
Preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Lindon L. and Annie Mae Scales; and nephew, Robert Carrol Scales, Mr. Scales is survived by his wife, MaLea; sons, Rusty and Jody; stepsons, Braxton and Nicholas Wade; grandson, Lindon Eli Scales; granddaughter, Sally Briar Scales; step grandsons, Ethan Wade, and Austin Wade; brothers, Bobby and Harvel Scales; mother-in-law, Etta Stephenson, and brother-in-law, Dr. Devin Stephenson.
