Little League® International mourns the passing of Everett Demers, Connecticut District 11 Administrator. He was 49.
Mr. Demers was a native of Worcester, Massachusetts, but spent his formative years in Daytona beach, Florida. In 2011, he relocated to Coventry, Connecticut. Professionally, he worked in the aircraft technologies manufacturing industry for the Abel Womack company as a customer service manager.
A volunteer in many social and youth sports organizations, Mr. Demer’s service to the Little League program began at the local level (10 years as a coach and manager; 4 years as Player Agent) and concluded with a 5-year tenure as Connecticut District 11 Administrator (1917-to-2023).
Mr. Demers is survived by his wife, Julie; daughters, Katie and Samantha; sons, Christian and Matthew; grandchildren Alisha and Olive; mother, Mary; and brothers Scott and Chris. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald; and infant son, Everett, Jr.
