Little League® International remembers Mike Aker, Nevada District 4 Administrator, who has passed away. He was 71.
Mr. Aker was the Nevada District 4 Administrator for 22 years. Prior to his election as D.A., he volunteered in many capacities in the Las Vegas area’s Central Little League, serving as League President for more than 25 years.
A veteran of the Unites States Army, Mr. Aker was a heavy equipment operator. He was a former member of the Las Vegas City Council and volunteered with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for more than 15 years.
Mr. Aker was predeceased by his father and mother, Raymond and Joan Aker; and grandson, Raymond Aker. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Jeanne; sons, Robert and Michael; daughter, Shawna; and seven grandchildren.
