Little League® International mourns the passing of Gia Kemoklidze, one of the founders of Little League in the Republic of Georgia, and a former District Administrator (D.A.). He was 62.
Mr. Kemoklidze introduced and taught the game of baseball to thousands of children throughout the former Soviet republic that borders Europe and Asia. He served as the republic’s D.A. at different times from 1995 through the 2014 season.
