Little League® International Mourns the Passing of Maryland District 2 Administrator Gregg Quedeweit

Little League® International remembers, Maryland District 2 Administrator Gregg Quedeweit. He was 69.

Mr. Quedeweit, a resident of Westminster, Md., served as Maryland’s District 2 Administrator for the past 25 years.

A native of Marrow, Ohio, Mr. Quedeweit, was a former League President of Westminster (Md.) Little League prior to his election as District Administrator. He was a graduate of the University of Alabama where he majored in accounting and finance.

Professionally, Mr. Quedeweit retired from the Strouse Corporation in 2016. He was a life-long member of St. Benjamin’s (Krider’s) Lutheran Church, where he served as a past Treasurer and Head Usher. A charter and life-member of the Westminster Jaycees, Mr. Quedeweit also served as a past President of the Westminster Optimist Club.

Mr. Quedeweit is survived by his sister, Vicki, and a niece Wendy. He enjoyed playing golf, watching Major League Baseball’s Baltimore Orioles, the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League and Alabama Crimson Tide football. Mr. Quedeweit also was an avid stamp collector and enjoyed going to auctions.
