Little League® International is excited to welcome Joseph Lecce as the new IT Security Analyst, effective May 27, 2025.
While Lecce is now joining the Little League team in a full-time capacity, he is no stranger to the organization. In 2019, he began his employment as an IT Network and Security Systems intern, and each summer after, returned to the complex in a part-time role to help with security and IT projects at the Little League Baseball® World Series, including the development of the facial recognition databank to enhance security for the international tournament.
“On behalf of the entire Little League IT team, and after experiencing his support over the past five years, we are thrilled to officially welcome Joey as a full-time member of our team,” said Joe Sassano, Little League Senior Executive, Information Technology. “With his extensive understanding of the Little League organization, excellent communication skills, and proactive approach to supporting our projects, Joey brings significant value to our team as we enter the summer.”
Before joining Little League, Lecce gained experience working as the Director of Information Technology for Lecce Electric, Inc. in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, overseeing the design, implementation, and continued maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems.
“I am excited to return and join the Little League team in this official role,” said Lecce. “I am eager to bring my skills and knowledge to this full-time role and continue to support the organization’s security and IT initiatives.”
Lecce graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in computing and information technology.
