Each March, and throughout the entire year, Little League® celebrates the girls and women who have made the Little League program what it is today through its Girls with Game Initiative. As communities across the United States join together to celebrate Women’s History Month this March, as well as International Women’s Day on March 8, we encourage you to help us celebrate these Girls with Game by using #GirlsWithGame and by tagging @LittleLeague on Facebook, X/Twitter, and Instagram.
Since it launched in 2019, the Little League Girls with Game Initiative has helped to inspire the future generation of female participants at every level. From written stories and feature videos to inspiring quotes and photos across all its digital media platforms, the Girls with Game initiative celebrates the memorable moments, exciting events, and inspiring individuals throughout the Little League Baseball and Softball program all year long. Throughout the month of March, Little League will once again be sharing inspirational content across all its digital platforms, including its official social media channels and on LittleLeague.org.
Local Little League programs are encouraged to join in on the celebration by downloading the Girls with Game Toolkit that includes items such as social media graphics, banner ads, registration flyers, and more. In addition, leagues are encouraged to spotlight those Girls with Game who serve as Community Heroes, recognize the notable alumni who have come through their program, and purchase all the latest Girls with Game souvenirs at ShopLittleLeague.org.
