Little League® International is pleased to welcome Caleb Boujemaa as its newest Southwest Region Assistant Director. Effective as of February 6, 2023, Mr. Boujemaa will join the Little League team and be based at the George W. Bush Little League Leadership Training Center in Waco, Texas.
“I am so excited to welcome Caleb to the Little League team,” said Blaine Whitmire, Little League Southwest Region Director. “With his extensive experience in event operations for the University of Texas baseball and football programs, and excitement to support our Little League programs, I believe he will be a valuable asset as our new Southwest Region Assistant Director here in Waco.”
Mr. Boujemaa joins the Little League team after most recently working on the Event and Game Operations team for the University of Texas Athletics Program, assisting with various athletics events including the NCAA Regional Baseball Tournament, University of Texas Football games, and other premiere events. In addition to his role at the University of Texas, Mr. Boujemaa also spent time as an event volunteer for U.S. Soccer in Austin, Texas.
“I am extremely excited to work for an organization that stands for everything positive about sports,” said Mr. Boujemaa. “This opportunity allows me to give back to a community that has meant a ton not only to me, but people all across the globe.”
A 2022 graduate of the University of Texas with a B.S. in Kinesiology and Health, Sports Management, and a minor in Business, Mr. Boujemaa also spent the summer of 2021 at the McCombs Summer Institute where he conducted research on target market for an entrepreneurship project.
In his role as Assistant Director, Mr. Boujemaa will assist Mr. Whitmire in supporting the operations of the districts, leagues, and volunteers in Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas, as well as also operating the Southwest Region Tournaments for Little League Baseball® and Little League Softball®.
