Central Region: Umpire Clinic

The Central Region Umpire Clinic is an intense, three-day experience that provides a comprehensive coverage of all aspects of umpiring for Little League Baseball and Softball. The days include a full range of experiences including plate mechanics, base mechanics, rules instruction, and rules application. Programming ensures a highly engaging and participatory experience with a variety of off-field and on-field exercises. All mechanics instruction will be demonstrated and practiced with critical and pointed feedback from instructors.

Students will have a final skills assessment to help develop their practice. Rules instruction will be scenario-based with video presentations to engage the learners. Whether you are new to the umpiring ranks or have had many years of experience, this Academy will ensure you have the most current, up-to-date, and approved mechanics and rules knowledge. Don’t miss this opportunity to grow your game. This Academy provides the opportunity to network and talk baseball with other, like-minded Little League umpires and everything an umpire would need to be ready to go for the start of the Little League Baseball/Softball season.
****Attendees will need to bring all of their umpiring equipment, uniform, and a glove. Housing, breakfast, and dinner is the responsibility of the attendee. Lunch will be provided. ****
