The clinic focuses on two aspects of umpire leadership; training attendees how to train umpires (Train the Trainer) and how to lead your league or district as the Umpire-in-Chief or the Umpire Administrator.

The clinic will teach you how to teach mechanics, rules, run full clinics and will include dissemination of all regional drill sheets. The clinic includes a very detailed breakdown of how to teach the umpire plate stance. We will also show you how to conduct a very thorough post game evaluation.

The clinic will also review the responsibilities of the league & district UICs and all that is entailed in being a successful Umpire-in-Chief. This clinic is not just for UICs, but is also for those who desire to train others and those who have the responsibility to recruit, reward and retain umpires.

The clinic registration begins at 5:00 pm, dinner provided by the Region from 6:00 pm to 6:45 pm, training will begin promptly at 7:00 pm. The cost is $90.00 per person.
