The application for this program should be completed by a League Board Member/Official. If selected, kits will be mailed to the league official designated in your application in February 2023. Leagues should then distribute the kits to each player’s parents or guardians at the start of the season or when received.
Before You Apply
The goal of this program is to help those children most in need and who may otherwise not have a chance to participate. Please carefully consider if the children in your league have a true and urgent need for this equipment kit before you apply.
In order to successfully complete your leagues application, please ensure you have the following information and details:
- Name of your Little League (as it appears on the Little League Data Center)
- League ID
- League Field Address (primary field for 7 – 11-year-old – baseball or softball)
- Address where kits will be shipped
- Two (2) alternative league contacts for the program, in addition to the League President
- Name, phone, email, local league board position
- 2022-23 estimated number of player registrations (can estimate from 2021-22 player registrations)
- 2022-23 estimated registration fees per player and any additional fees (volunteer opt outs, uniforms, etc.) that parents or guardians would pay per child
- Number of 2021-22 scholarship players in your league
- Additional details and background on why this equipment grant will have a positive impact on the players in your league
