Little Mountain Little League out of Vancouver, British Columbia, will represent Canada at the 75th Anniversary of the Little League Baseball® World Series after an undefeated 8-0 record in the 2022 Canada Region Championship.
The Canada Region champions scored a total 101 runs over eight games, picking up double-digit runs in their first six games before sneaking out a 3-2 victory over Calgary Rocky Mountain Little League in the semifinals.
This will be the 62nd team from Canada to represent the country in Williamsport, and the second appearance for Little Mountain Little League after making the trip in 2010 where they picked up their opening-round victory over Panama.
Little Mountain Little League will square off against the Australia Region champions, Brisbane North Region Little League, in Game 3 of the LLBWS on Wednesday, August 17, at 5 p.m. ET in Volunteer Stadium.
