Marty Henry and Louis Nickerson have been appointed as members of the Southeast Region’s Volunteer Umpire Staff.
Matt Weber, Southeast Region Director made the appointments upon the recommendation of fellow members of the Umpire Staff, which is led by the Umpire-in-Chief, Rich Ealy.
Members of the Volunteer Umpire Staff lead various education and training events, serve as Umpire-in-Chiefs at Region Tournaments and lead and assist umpires throughout the Southeast Region.
Mr. Henry resides in Knoxville, TN and has been active in Little League for 25 years. Mr. Nickerson resides Vero Beach, FL and has been a Little League volunteer since 2008. Both individuals have previously umpired in Region and World Series tournaments.
The addition of these two volunteers brings the Staff to a total of nine individuals.
