Jarrett Tadlock recorded the win for Pearland West LL. He allowed two runs over 3 1/3 innings. Tadlock struck out two, walked none, and gave up seven hits.
Pearland West LL jumped out to an early 2-0 lead, after scoring two runs in the second, and never looked back. This is the third trip to Williamsport for a team from Pearland, Texas. Last year, Pearland East LL competed in the Little League Baseball World Series as the Southwest Region Champion.
Pearland West Little League finished the 2015 Little League Baseball Southwest Region Tournament with a 4-0 record. Throughout the tournament, the team outscored opponents 41-7. The Southwest Region Champion will face off against the Northwest Region Champion in the first round of the Little League Baseball World Series on Thursday, Aug. 20, at 3 p.m., at Lamade Stadium.
