Little League® International Remembers Former Massachusetts District 6 Administrator Jeffrey Silvia

Little League® International honors the memory of Jeffrey Silvia, former Massachusetts District 6 Administrator. He was 60.

Mr. Silvia, a native of Fall River, Massachusetts, began his service to the Little League program with Fall River Federal Little League, volunteering for more than 45 years. During that time, Mr. Silvia held the titles of coach, Treasurer, Vice President, League President, and Umpire-In-Chief. He was elected as Massachusetts District 6 Administrator in January of 2003, and served in that capacity for more than 20 years (March 2023).

A graduate of Diman Regional Technical Vocational High School in 1980, Mr. Silvia spent much of his professional life employed by the City of Fall River as an police officer, dispatcher, and member of the Board of Park Commissioners. His vocational activities included many years supporting several organized youth sports associations in a variety of administrative and leadership roles.

Mr. Silvia is survived by his wife of 30 years, Julia; sons, Brandon and Marc; brothers, Michael, James, and Eric; mother, Lorraine; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, William.
