Little League® International Remembers Former Georgia District 5 Administrator B.L. Clark, Jr.

Little League® International mourns the passing of a former Georgia District 5 Administrator B.L. Clark, Jr. He was 87.

Mr. Clark, a native of Griffin, Georgia, began his service to the Little League program with the Bloomfield (Georgia) Little League, later serving as League President. During his time as League President, Mr. Clark oversaw construction of the league’s Little League Challenger Division® facility. He was elected as Georgia District 5 Administrator in June 1989 and served in that capacity for nearly 30 years.

One of the highlights of Mr. Clark’s tenure as District Administrator came in 2007, when Major Division baseball and softball teams from Warner Robins American Little League won the Little League Baseball® and Little League Softball® World Series.

Mr. Clark is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marcia; sons, Craig and David; and grandchildren, Lindsey and Cody. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennett Lee Clark, Sr., and Nora Hill Clark; daughter, Julia Anna; sister Connie; and brother, Clyde.
