Little League® International remembers Ronald Wehrle, former New York District 10 Administrator. He was 81.
Mr. Wehrle, a native of Utica, New York, was a graduate of New Hartford (N.Y.) High School, and served in the United States Marine Corp. Professionally, he was employed by the Town of New Hartford’s Highway Department.
With his volunteer service spanning 43 years, Mr. Wehrle filled the roles of coach, manager, and League President of The New Hartford Lions Little League. In 2009, Mr. Wehrle was elected New York District 10 Administrator, a position he held for eight years.
Mr. Wehrle is survived by his wife of 55 years, Beverly; sons; Ronald, Terri, Lance, and Dale; brothers, Mike and Wayne; and sisters, Rae, Sheila, and Sharon. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Carole and Marilyn; and brother, Dennis.
