Little League® International mourns the passing of Grayson Little, North Carolina District 3 Administrator. He was 64.
Mr. Little, a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, was a student at Harding High School and Myers Park High School, graduating in 1976. He attended Garner Webb University, graduating in 1980, with a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Religious Education. Following graduation, Mr. Little joined the Little Hardware Company, where he worked in a wide variety of capacities for more than 50 years.
A volunteer in many social organizations, Mr. Little’s 35 years of service to the Little League program began in the Steele Creek Little League where he was a dedicated coach and manager for 16 years. He also spent 10 years as league president. At the time of his passing, he was serving his ninth year as North Carolina District 3 Administrator.
Mr. Little is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary; and two sons, Thomas, and Benjamin. He was predeceased by his parents, Donald, and Judy.
